EOFY Grease Guardian Silverchef Funding

Friday, June 1, 2018

As the end of another financial year approaches it is time to consider if there are any economic opportunities for your business to take advantage of - and the instant tax write off is one of them.

Businesses often look to this time of year to find improvements to their daily operating procedures and the purchase of Grease Guardian and Drain Protectors are very popular.

Did you know:

  1.    Small businesses with a turnover of up to $10m can claim an instant asset write off for each asset <$20,000.00 (exc GST)
  2.    Incentive can be used for multiple assets within the same year
  3.    This is likely to be the last year that the incentive is in place before reverting to $1,000.00
  4.    The asset must be available for use within the current financial year

For example, if a café owner was to purchase a Grease Guardian, Drain Protectors and Veritech Canopy Filters worth $10,000 plus GST, all to be installed and in use before 30th June 2018, they can claim this total amount as an immediate deduction.

Another opportunity for Grease Guardian customers would be to consider the Rent-Try-Buy option from Silverchef. Silverchef are Australia’s premier hospitality equipment funding specialists and can provide a tailored finance package to cover any commercial kitchen product including the Grease Guardian.

The Rent-Try-Buy agreement is for an initial 12 months with flexible options to either upgrade your Grease Guardian, or purchase it outright to receive a 75% rebate.
